I have worked for Maidstone and Causton since 2012 and the school joined the Trust in July 2019.
How has the Seckford Education Trust supported your development?
The Seckford Education Trust has supported my development in my career due to the access to high quality CPD and support in new roles. I have also had access to a variety of training opportunities including ‘holding difficult conversations part 1 and 2’, leadership training with HR last year and I am now completing my NPQH. In 2020, I was promoted from my role of Assistant Head of School to Deputy Head of School of both sites.
Which specific aspects of the Seckford Education Trust’s CPD offer had the most impact on you?
I am currently completing my NPQH which is supporting my role of Deputy Head and helping me to make links across the Trust. It is challenging me to further develop teaching and curriculum excellence and the middle leaders across the sites.
