Welcome from the Headteacher

As we start the new year, we are very much looking forward to continuing to strengthen and build our Ixworth community by working closely with you. We will continue to share important information and key dates with you as well as an insight in into all the wonderful things our great school is doing.

Headteacher’s drop-ins will continue at the scheduled times and I look forward to engaging with you then. If you have any queries outside of these times, please visit our Contact Us page for information about how you can get in touch.

For any prospective families interested in joining the Ixworth community you can find out more by visiting our Prospective Parents page.

What do parents think

“I chose Ixworth because I wanted a school that would work with my son on an individual level. I’m delighted with the School and can see why they get such good GCSE results”.

“My child suffered with anxiety at her previous school but after two weeks at Ixworth, she is attending regularly and now looks forward to going to school. I couldn’t ask for more!”

“My son has benefitted from the new opportunities since September. He is part of the Brilliant Club and working with a PhD tutor and also part of Young Enterprise on a Wednesday afternoon”.

“As a parent and member of staff, I see the school from both sides. The School is caring and ambitious. Proud to be part of the community”.
